Below you will find some FAQs that should be helpful. Should you require any further information, simply contact us directly.

WHAT IS A SPONSORED POST (SP)?

A SP is a post that promotes your business. It will be published on the SEW Facebook group under the banner of <Sponsored Post>.

 

WHERE WILL IT APPEAR?

It will appear on the SEW Facebook group under the PLUG MONDAYS section.

 

WHO WILL SEE THIS?

Your post will be visible to all members of the SEW Facebook group. The post will be marked as an announcement.

 

HOW LONG WILL MY POST STAY ON THE GROUP FOR?

Each SP will be visible for 7 days – Monday to Sunday and then removed.

 

WHAT SHOULD THE POST INCLUDE?

A high-resolution picture + 150 words description + website link + offer (not compulsory)

 

WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER GIVING AN OFFER?

By providing a special offer or promotion with a clear call-to-action, your chances of engagement will increase. Let’s face it, who doesn’t like a great deal?

 

WHAT TYPE OF TONE SHOULD THE MESSAGING BE?

SEW copy writers will retain the right to re-write all posts descriptions to make sure the tone is in line with the group’s personality. Simply submit your 150 words and we will help compose a description that will be most effective to attract community engagement from our members.

 

HOW CAN I MAKE A PURCHASE (AND GENERAL RULES)?

 

  • Each post will be visible for 7 days (then removed).

  • We only sell SPs in a bundle: A minimum bundle of 4 SPs must be purchased at once (ie SG$400). We do this because too much admin goes into managing single post purchases.

  • All purchases will be subject to a waiting list for the posts to be published. SEW will manage the timeline of the posts and would like to request your understanding and patience.

  • We are limiting (for now) up to 10 posts per week. This may change down the line.

  • You will have an 8 week window to publish all 4 of your purchased posts. If posts are not used within this window, they will expire and a refund will not be issued.

  • SEW retains the rights to approve all purchase requests. We cannot simply accept all requests and need to be selective around the types of products & services that we believe will resonate best with our members.
